During Master Planning the critical design decisions were driven by the necessity of achieving a viable mix of commercial and resi- dential properties while balancing the desire to maintain a village atmosphere. As a result, residential townhomes were placed in an ‘L’ shape around the retail space to maximize both the residential density and the available commercial space. Also provided in the design were assorted outdoor venues and village greens that could be shared, as well as space solely for the use of residents.
